Shepherd Automotive took my vehicle in and diagnosed my troubles gave me an estimate that I could understand then I selected what I needed done and I brought it back they installed all of the parts and my vehicle is running smoothly.

Unfortunately it wasn’t a good experience. You weren’t able to fix the problem I sent it in for. You said you weren’t able to find the issue because the car was starting fine. Which couldn’t possibly have been the truth because when I picked it up, of course it still wasn’t starting. So ultimately I concluded that it had to be a lie. For what reason I don’t know. I was charged for a diagnostic test, specific to my battery and the car not starting. You claim you weren’t able to check for these things so I was charged but didn’t receive the service I needed. Thumbs down.

We take all service concerns seriously, and put a lot of effort into getting an accurate and complete diagnosis. Intermittent failures are as frustrating for us as it is for you. We do not guess. You would be equally unhappy if we sold you repairs that didn't fix your car. As it is, we charged 50% of our normal testing and inspection fee. We spent a lot of time on your car trying to pinpoint the issue, and were not able to. The failure to start when you picked up the car was the first time it failed at our facility. These guys do excellent work and have provided me great advice and help with my lebaron. as it’s a chrysler it needs good care and i’ve always received great service. I would definitely recommend Shepherds Automotive to anyone who is looking for an honest and reliable mechanics team.

My fuel pump went out in the middle of me transitioning from Louisiana to Oklahoma. I personally went through a lot of heck to be able to get my vehicle fixed, and they were so patient and understanding with me and treated me nothing but respectable. I love these guys, and Scott is really very nice and professional. I’ll be going back to them for future endeavors.

I wasn't happy about the results in this job.
They did a Jasper warranty engine replacement. Did me a solid by installing a custom oil pickup tube upon my request so it wouldn't eat itself alive again. That part was great. Rough part was they didn't tighten the upper radiator clamp in the right spot so it leaked coolant about 5 mins down the road. So I had to retighten it and locate it to the correct location. That wasn't that big of a deal, but worth mentioning. The part that irritated the hell out of me is when I went to swap in a new cam this week, I realized the crank bolt was never actually installed. Pretty irritated about that but it's got one now since I had one ordered already for the cam swap. The A/C also stopped working after the swap too so that's another issue I'll sort out later. They are good dudes, just wish the fit and finish was better. As for Jasper, I found a random washer sitting under one of the valve springs. So there's that, lol
